Spelling Bee Information & Spelling Club Dates!

Hello!
Preparing for the JNE Spelling Bee has officially begun! We will meet at 8:10am in Mrs. Bailey's room on Spelling Club days.
Dates: 10/07, 10/21, 10/28, 11/11, & 11/20.
If you cannot make it to club, it is okay! You are still part of the Spelling Bee! Spelling Club is OPTIONAL!

Our final meeting will be Friday, 11/20 at 8:10am. This is the day of the JNE Spelling Bee. I would like all spelling bee candidates to attend this meeting. We will go over rules, answer any questions, and conduct a mock spelling bee for one final practice.

During Spelling Club we:

Practice spelling words with a partner or independently
Conduct mock spelling bees
Discuss strategies to help us spell out loud
Discuss rules and procedures for the Spelling Bee
Answer any questions that come up as we practice

Any parents or family members who would like to attend the jNE Spelling Bee MUST complete a background check. This can take up to five business days to process. Here is the link for background checks: OBS

Spelling Club is optional, and it is okay if you cannot make it to every meeting. I am here to help in any way possible. If you have any questions, please email me dbailey@bssd.net.
